I started my woodworking journey almost 45 years ago when my dad had a small shed setup with a lathe and some basic tools, I loved being in that shed and tried my hand at a few basic builds. I remember carving an Alsatian dog out of lime and turning a few basic trinkets and some candle sticks.

I’ve done a whole lot of DIY projects and house renovations over the years but never really ventured too much in to creating things for fun (and mental health) until the start of this year and I thought it would be cool to document my progress – and so KnotJustWood was born.

I aim to start adding solid wood items to our inventory in our craft based business and eventually would like to see the wooden items become the main stock.

My YouTube channel will be used to show how I go about finding items to sell, detailing the builds and also at some point I will start doing videos detailing the setting up, everyday running and financials of running the business.

I hope to see you along the way and please if you are watching one of my videos just pop a comment in to say Hi – I respond to every single comment.

Thank You!
Mark.
